Gordon took up the musical directorship of Thomas Coats Memorial Choral Society in 2007, having previously been conductor of Bridge of Weir Choral Society.
The 100-strong choir (one of the largest choral societies in Scotland) rehearses from January to March each year and performs in the beautiful setting of Thomas Coats Memorial Church in Paisley.
The choir regularly performs with soloists from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, accompanied by The Kelvin Ensemble, and the Symphony Orchestra of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
TCMCS is a member choir of Voices in Paisley and takes part in the annual Paisley Choral Festival.
TCMCS receives generous support from Making Music and the Scottish Arts Council.
