Gordon is General Editor and Trustee of Musica Scotica. 

Musica Scotica is a series of scholarly editions and studies of Scottish music, founded by the late Dr Kenneth Elliott.

The main series of publications provides editions of Scottish music which aim to serve both practical and scholarly needs. Published in parallel with the main series is a series of volumes of miscellaneous pieces. In addition, Musica Scotica has also instituted a series of historical studies of Scottish music of all periods. A series of recordings is forthcoming.
